1. Most common phrases & slang to chat in korean like native

How to txt and chat in korean like a native? How to actually understand korean slang and abbreviations while chating on facebook or instagram, kakaotalk? There is the list of the most common words, phrases which will help you to txt in korean and to koreans easily 🙂

1. 하이 [hi]– Hi
2. 안녕 [annyeong] – Hello
3. 반가워요 [pangawayo] – nice to meet you / nice to see you
4. 뭐해? [mohae]– What are you doing? (often
5. 대박! [daebak]– Omg, wow !
6. 헐 [hull] – omg !  (surprised or shocked)
7. 진짜? [chincha] – rly?
8. 아니야! [aniya] – nope!
9. 아니라고 [aniragu] – I said no!
10. 웅웅 [eung eung] – yes
11. 화이팅 [fighting] – good luck! (keep going on, fighting)
12. 힘내! – cheer up!
13. 아이고 [aigo] – when a someone uses “aigo” it means that they are either very surprised, or that they saw something cute or that they are in pain.

– 왜 그래? – Are u ok?
– 너무 피곤해… – So tired…
– 아이고 그럼 빨리 자야지 – Aigo then go to sleep faster~

14. 어디 갔어?[odi gasso] – Where did u go? (essentially means “why don’t you answer or why don’t you read my message?”)
15. 왜 그래? [wae keurae] – essentially means “why do you act like that or why do you look like that; are you ok?”
16. 심심해 [sh’imsh’imae]– boring
17. 나도 [nado] – Me too
18. 보고싶어 [bogosh’ipho] – I miss (you) (literally means “I want to see”)

19. 짜증나게 하지마! [chajeunnage hajima] – Don’t annoy!

20. 뭐래 [morae] – What are you talking about? (often it’s kind of mocking)
21. 신경 꺼! [sh’ingyeon kko] – never mind! ( It’s none of your business)
22. 사랑해 [sarane / saranghae] – love (you)
23. 일려와 [illyowa] – come on come to me (often essentially means “come on i will hug you”)
24. 안아줄까? [anajul’kka] – Do you want me to hug you?
25. 삐쳤어? [ppijeosseo] – Are you salty?
26. 뭐라고? [moragu] – Wht did you said?
27. 몰라 [molla] – Idk
28. 네가 뭔데? [niga mwondae] – But what are you? (sometimes means “how dare you?”)
29. 안돼! [andwae] – no way ! (don’t do it)
30. 아마도? [amadu] – May be?
31. 야 ! [ya] – Hey!
32. 역시 너 밖에 없어 [yoksh’i no pakke opso] – As I expected I have no one but you
33. 내 말 듣고 있어? [nae mall teukko isso] – Do you listen me?
34. 상관 없어. [sangwan opso] – I don’t care
35. 설마? [sol’ma] – No way! Really? (in a negative conext)
36. 웃겨 [ukkyo] – funny

– 뭐라고? 그만해! ㅎㅎㅎ [moragu? keumanae! ahaha]

37. 어떻게 지내? [ottokke chinae] – How are you? (What are doing this days, how r you doing this days?)
38. 잘 지내고 있지? [chal’ chinaego ichi] – Are you doing well?
39. 기분이 어때? [kibuni ottae] – How do you feel?
40. 기분이 좋다! [kibuni chua] – I feel good!
41. 힘이 없어[himi opso] – I’m so tired (literally means “I don’t have any power”)
42. 미안해 [mianhae / mianae] – Sorry
43. 다시는 얘기하지 말자! [tash’ineun yegi haji malja] – Let’s don’t talk anymore!
44. 좋아 ! [chua] – good / great / ok / like it
45. 마음대로해! [maeumdaero hae / mamdaero ae] – Do whatever you want!
46. 그냥 [keunyan] – just
47. 미치겠어 [michigesso] – I’m going crazy
48. 미치겠네 [michigennae] – “Wow, im going crazy” or “wow, you are going crazy”
49. 미쳤네 [michonae] – You are crazy! (wow, you are crazy)
50. 무슨 생각해? [museun saengak hae / museun saengak ae] – what do you thinking about?
51. 잘자! [chalja] – Good night!
52. 좋은 꿈 꿔 [chu-eun kkum kko] – Sweet dreams!
